My Process

Get Inspired
I start my projects by taking a walk and gathering pieces from nature. I will use many of these objects in my work as well as using them to spark ideas.
Mold the Clay
I do a lot of my work by hand although I will occasionally use the wheel. I start with a lump of clay and let it tell the direction.
Create the Finished Piece
I never quite know what the end will look like when I start from a lump of clay and the rocks, flowers, pine cones, etc. that I have gathered. I hand paint all of my work and I love using earthy tones to capture the colors of nature. Whether the final product is one of my signature rabbits, a bowl or something else entirely, every piece is carefully and lovingly created.
